食  Food Culuture Project 01. Han-Sik

Korean food was served by inviting various people at the beautiful AWON old house in Wanju, Jeollabuk-do.

Tea first appeared as a kind of beverage or medicinal use, but as it gradually became a favorite food, it became connected to hobbies, 

and again, the way of daily life was developed to tea ceremony in relation to tea.

 

 

 

 

Awon is a 250-year-old hanok built in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, built in the year of Gyeongsin, and moved to Oseong Village under the foot of Mt.

Centered around our unique traditional hanok, an art museum boasting modern architecture and a dormitory coexist.

 

 

Awon is a complex cultural space that boasts that architecture is both engineering and humanities.

It is my garden and our garden that creates a new space where modernity and tradition harmonize together.

Many people gathered here to drink tea and we served them a Korean tea ceremony.
