also the moment of recalling the name of mother and father. 」
“New Born” is an installation art project at the opening ceremony of the National Institute of Intangible Heritage in 2014. To celebrate the birth of the National Intangible Heritage Center, we investigated the elements that can symbolize Jeonju, where the heritage center is located. To describe Seong-mu (Buddhist dance), we captured the character of the city Jeonju and installed it where there are a lot of wind, and then we used the fluffy fabric to maximize the effect. The fabric that has size of 45meter long, 11meter width. The 10 spot light facing the fabric symbolizes the heart of mother who is waiting for baby to come. During 10 months, mom’s wishes are in the 10 moons.
