This project presented a new direction of traditional crafts to Du-seok which is contained meaningful thought by adding modern sense and use. On the front book cover, arranged Du-seok pattern and silhouette of wooden table presented Korean aesthetic naturally.

Book for the Artisan of the year 2017 published with the craft man sponsored by Yeol. Suggested future direction of Du-seok derived from the theme “simple; bridging the gap”.

 

Du-seok has a function of connector. it designed to connect separate pieces together. Complete product of Du-seok usually has yellow color that is closed to color of bean so its bean (Du) is given as head letter of name of Du-seok.
